Parting
We may not know what awaits us after life, but we suggest to exit with an ace lead guitar. Thanks to Kyle, for playing drums on this.

Franklin’s Tower was of course written by Robert Hunter & Jerry Garcia

Hurry Up

Song
A simply irresistible poem that time forgot, possibly because it makes time look meaningless. Recording this first convinced us that we got something here worth working on.

Old Rosin The Beau
This traditional has been a live set regular from 2008 on, also an early attempt to put traditional lyrics to new music. Skip the chorus, the 3/4 beat, take two chords, NEVER play the third. There are many different versions of this song, the text we used was first published in 1838, we learned it from:
Haufrecht, Herbert (Hg.): Folk Sing. Handbuch für Gesang mit Gitarre- oder Akordeon-Bezifferung. Volksweisen aus der älteren und jüngeren Zeit, Köln: Essex Musikvertriebs GmbH (1959), S.93 (which is a great book, by the way!)

Old Rosin The Beau (alt. take)
Same song, different approach. This new speedway boogie was recorded in 2009. Possibly with a rocking-chair on a veranda in mind. Nevertheless to be played at maximum volume.
